Four goals of scoring that did not arrive and ten fewer conceded than the chances called for. The plus-22 was the best on the club and a career plus-52 in 268 games is the whole argument for him.

47 career assists in 268 games. Eleven goals in five seasons is as close to no offence as a top-four defenceman gets. He moves the puck simply and gives it to Doughty, which is the correct answer.

18 penalty minutes in 74 games at twenty and a half a night is a remarkable rate for a man who plays the other club’s top line every night. He blocks shots, kills penalties, and does not chase.
