He took 52.7 per cent of the expected goals at five-on-five over 1,101 minutes, the 72nd percentile, and his ice went 50-38 against an expectation of 48.55-43.59. Fifty-three points at fifteen minutes a night is a first-line rate on a third-line workload.
The Finesse Game
He shoots from a median of 24 feet with 36 per cent from inside 20 and converted 14.67 per cent. The hands at 6-5 are much better than the frame suggests and he handles the puck in tight ice.
Eighty-eight career assists in 240 games. He holds the puck along the wall with one arm and finds a man coming late, which is a play very few forwards this size make.
The Physical Game
He is 6-5 and 212 and he wins the wall against anybody. A defenceman who tries to take the puck off him in the corner is usually still there when the play has moved on.
