The caveat is loud: Colorado was the second-best possession team in the league and this was a sheltered checking role inside it. Every Avalanche forward in this book carries a number like that.
Still: plus-15 with the chances agreeing is a real season, and a fourth-line centre who does not sink a line is worth having on a Nashville club whose bottom six was outchanced all year.
