Undrafted out of Finland, and the one thing on his record that will outlive him is a hat-trick in a Game Seven, which is a strange and wonderful career highlight for a fourth-line winger.

The speed is honest rather than exceptional and it is enough for the role.
The Intangibles
The 99th percentile needs its caveat printed loudly. Four hundred and seventy sheltered fourth-line minutes on the second-best possession team in the league is the single easiest way to produce an extraordinary number, and this is one.
The goals went 25-17 in his favour and the expected goals 20.9 to 14.3, which is genuinely good and still Colorado’s doing more than his.
He is 30 and returns to the club he had the Game Seven for. Take the percentile off the page and what is left is a willing, limited, useful fourth-liner. Ask again after a hundred minutes in Dallas.
