23 goals and 32 assists in 64 games — 55 points at 18:03 a night, plus-6, with 71 penalty minutes on 205 shots at 11.22 per cent.
A knee injury in March ended it with eighteen games to play. On the rate he was running, the season he lost was going to be the best of his career.

The Finesse Game
205 attempts at a median of 28 feet, 33 per cent from inside twenty and 25 per cent from beyond forty, off a 92.7 mph shot at the 63rd percentile. He converts at 11.22 per cent and has scored 112 goals in 347 games.
2.2 bursts over 20 mph a game at the 88th percentile, and a top speed of 22.6 mph at the 68th. He gets to top gear quickly and the top gear is ordinary, which is a description of a power forward rather than a criticism of one.
The year before this he scored 30 goals and 69 points in 78 games. He is 23 in this edition’s season with four twenty-goal seasons behind him, one of them a thirty, and the shape of the career is still open.
The Physical Game
