Six shutouts is tied for the most of any goaltender in this edition, alongside Sergei Bobrovsky, Charlie Lindgren and Connor Ingram. The .9028 is the lowest of any season in which he has played more than twenty-five games, and the club’s goaltending still came out 2.8 goals ahead of the chances it faced, because those chances were the twenty-sixth-worst in the league.
The Physical Game

He plays deep in his crease and lets the size do the work rather than challenging out to the top of the paint. The first save is usually clean and the trouble comes on the second, because pucks die in front of him rather than going to the corners. The lateral push across a wide crease at that height is the part that has always been slower than it looks.
