The Finesse Game

32 assists. He is a far better hockey player than he was ever given credit for being — the hands in tight are good, he can distribute on a power play, and 395 points in 835 games is a top-six winger’s record built on top of an enforcer’s.
The Physical Game
6-4 and 225 and among the most feared players in the league for a decade. He finishes every check available and a number that are not, he clears space in front of both nets, and he fights.
100 penalty minutes in 81 games, and 1,532 in 835 career games. He crosses the line deliberately, he has been suspended repeatedly, and he is the reason opponents change their behaviour on the forecheck. The edge is the point and it always has been.

Sixteenth overall in 2012 and 835 games and 395 points, all of it here, with a Stanley Cup in 2018.
He is 31 and had 3 goals in his first NHL season and 33 in his twelfth. Very few players have added this much skill to this much violence and stayed available enough to use both.
