The Finesse Game

One of the most efficient finishers in the league and it is location as much as touch. Fifty per cent of his unblocked attempts came from inside twenty feet with a median of 20, and only 11 per cent from beyond forty.

The Physical Game

The Intangibles

The minus-18 is the second-worst figure on the club and it describes the goaltending rather than him: 51.2 per cent of the expected goals, 65th percentile, with the chances essentially even at 36.0 to 34.3 and the goals 32-41 against.

Florida’s goaltending came in forty goals worse than the chances it faced, the worst in the National Hockey League. Every minus figure in this section has that number sitting underneath it.
