The Finesse Game
The skating is genuinely good and it is the only elite tool. He enters the zone with speed and can beat a defenceman wide.
118 shots and 15 goals at 12.7 per cent is a fair rate, and 11 assists in 82 games is very thin — he does not create for other people and never has. The hands do not keep up with the feet when the play slows.
