The Physical Game
6-8 and 229 and among the tallest men ever to play in the league. He defends the rush with reach that is genuinely difficult to get around, he clears his crease, and he finishes checks that hurt.
74 penalty minutes in 71 games is a high rate and a share of it is the stick foul that follows a man this size being beaten to the outside. He crosses the line as well, and he has 861 penalty minutes across his career.

Twelfth overall in 2008, a Calder Trophy at 20 in Buffalo, and 1,066 games and 395 points across three organisations.
