The Finesse Game

The Physical Game
Six foot three, 210, and he uses the frame on the forecheck without seeking contact. Two penalty minutes in 29 games is a very clean season.
The Intangibles
Two hundred and seventy-seven five-on-five minutes, which is thin, and the split inside it is odd: 50.2 per cent of the expected goals, 55th percentile, against only 47.2 per cent of the shot attempts, 27th.
The goals went 16-13 in his favour, one of the few Florida forwards not eaten by the goaltending.
He is 25, a third-round pick who came over in the Matthew Tkachuk trade, and this is a thirteenth-forward job on a club with no room. Ask again after fifty games.
