Seattle Kraken Center #26
Sixty-eight games, four goals, and the eighth percentile in shot attempts.

Last Season
Four goals and 14 assists in 68 games — 18 points, even in plus-minus, at 11:59 a night with fifteen penalty minutes. His first full NHL season.
The Finesse Game
The location is right and nothing comes of it. A hundred and twenty unblocked attempts, four goals, from a median of 23 feet with 44 per cent from inside twenty and only thirteen per cent from beyond forty.
That is a young forward getting to good ice and finishing almost none of it — nineteen points in 89 career games says the same thing.
Fourteen assists in twelve minutes a night is the encouraging half and it is genuinely encouraging.
The Physical Game
Six foot two and 175 pounds, which is thin even by the standards of a 22-year-old. Fifteen penalty minutes.
He goes to the net and gets moved out of it. There is a great deal of room on the frame.
The Intangibles
Forty-eight point three per cent of the expected goals, 38th percentile, against 44.3 per cent of the shot attempts, eighth percentile, across 750 minutes.
That is a four-point gap between chance share and attempt share — fewer shots, better ones — and the goals went 31-28 in his favour.
Two points in his last ten. He is 22, a sixty-seventh overall pick, and this is a fourth-line winger’s season with a third-liner’s shot chart underneath it. The goals have to start.
