That is a fourth-line forward standing in the right place and not finishing. Eleven points in 122 career games says the same thing from further back.
Three assists in 59 games is close to the bottom of this edition.
The Physical Game
Six foot four, 212, and he plays to it — he forechecks heavily, wins the wall, and screens. Forty-five penalty minutes in ten minutes a night is a high rate.
The skating is the ceiling and it is why he cannot be given more than a fourth line.
The Intangibles

Those are poor numbers even for the role.
Two points in his last ten. He is 23, a thirty-ninth overall pick who came from Ottawa, and a big, willing fourth liner on a club that will not need one for another two years. The shot chart is the only thing here worth watching.
