Last Season

Four goals and one assist in 25 games, plus-three, on thirteen and a half minutes a night with 21 penalty minutes. Across 87 career games he has 20 points.

The Finesse Game

Thin so far. Thirty-two shots in twenty-five games is a decent rate for the role and four goals from it is honest finishing, but a single assist in twenty-five games describes a player who is not making plays for anyone.

The hands are adequate around the net and nothing more at this level yet.

The Physical Game

Five-eleven and 197, and this is what he is here for. He hits, he agitates, he takes penalties — twenty-one minutes in twenty-five games — and he plays with the sort of edge that draws opponents into responses.

The junior record includes suspensions, which is the context for the edge.

The Intangibles

The twenty-seventh pick in 2021, on his second organisation, and a player whose value depends entirely on whether the agitation comes with enough hockey to justify a lineup spot.

At twenty-three he is exactly at the age where that gets decided. Thirteen minutes a night on a contender is a real opportunity and eighty-seven games is not yet an answer.
